Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative for the Plant Automation team during project planning, business case development, and cost estimation.
  • Collaborate with Operations Information Systems (OIS) to assess resource needs and manhours based on project scope.
  • Engage in the detailed design and implementation of automation solutions, including DeltaV DCS and Rockwell PLC systems.
  • Support post-implementation activities, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with established standards.
  • Contribute to the integration of new manufacturing technologies into clinical and commercial facilities.
  • Manage day-to-day support for drug substance operations while adhering to safety and regulatory practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Biotech Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Emerson Delta-V DCS and Rockwell Automation systems.
  • Strong understanding of capital project lifecycle management, including design, commissioning, and validation.
  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
