Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments, developing personalized treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct medication management sessions, educate patients and families on mental health topics, and participate in team meetings to ensure seamless care.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure effective patient care, prioritizing tasks and communicating effectively with colleagues.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with payors, reviewing denials and coordinating care with referring parties.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities, identifying opportunities for new program development and community education initiatives.
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Wisconsin.
- Board certification preferred, with a minimum of two years of experience working as a provider in a licensed hospital or clinic.
- Leadership and/or supervisory experience in a behavioral health organization is preferred.
