Key Responsibilities
- Oversees the execution of the production schedule by managing a team of assembly workers.
- Responsible for achieving daily and weekly production targets.
- Promotes a culture of safety within the team and leads by example.
- Facilitates training sessions for the assembly team, offering supervision and support as needed.
- Communicates updates on progress and addresses issues across teams and departments.
- Maintains a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to 6S principles, including workstations, equipment, and pathways.
- Engages in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Fosters a positive team environment characterized by collaboration and mutual support.
- Acts as the subject matter expert for assembly techniques and processes.
- Demonstrates consistent attendance and works effectively within a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Accepts guidance from the Cell Leader and undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma; an Associate degree is advantageous.
- 1-3 years of experience in assembly operations is required.
