Nurse Manager

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to lead our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our medical unit, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are met.
About the Role
This is a full-time position, working 1.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). The ideal candidate will have experience in leading large teams and possess strong leadership skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of accountability and driving quality and safety metrics. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes and prioritize wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities
As a Nurse Manager at UCHealth, you will be responsible for:
- Providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
- Leading a team of healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- Prioritizing wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice
- Modeling proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment
- Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
