As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in their communities. You will assist with daily living tasks, provide emotional support, and help participants to develop skills and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene tasks
  • Support individuals with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Help participants to participate in community activities and enjoy their favorite hobbies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with complex needs

Requirements:
  • No High School Diploma or equivalent
  • No experience required- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
  • Skills: Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
  • Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
