**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services to students in various schools and educational settings within our district.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct standardized assessments and environmental/classroom observations to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support student goals.
  • Collaborate with school teams, parents, and other service providers to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Attend and present findings at Individual Education Program (IEP) meetings.
  • Provide direct and/or consultative services to students as outlined in their IEP.
  • Comply with documentation requirements and supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Provide in-service training to IEP team members.

**Requirements:**

  • Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
  • NC Occupational Therapy license.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a school setting (preferred).

**Education:**

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (or current NC Occupational Therapy License and Bachelor's degree if graduated prior to 2004).
