Responsible for the oversight of the Arizona Housing Program (AHP) rental assistance and the Statewide Housing Administrator contract, aimed at enhancing housing availability for members through this vital resource. This role involves ensuring adherence to program regulations through annual evaluations, analysis of monthly and quarterly performance reports, and identifying trends along with opportunities for program enhancement and innovation. The position may require travel for monitoring activities across the state and opportunities for national presentations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial management and accountability of AHP housing assistance
  • Facilitate the implementation and operationalization of potential expansions in housing assistance and support services
  • Maintain and revise contracts with Housing Administrators and Managed Care Organizations related to housing
  • Supervise and manage the housing-related duties of contractors
  • Develop and lead initiatives to assess and enhance coordination of supportive services with housing programs

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in housing and homelessness services
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline, along with 2 years of experience in housing and homelessness services is preferred

  • Proficient in creating clear and organized written communications
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational capabilities and project management expertise
