Job Summary:

This position will oversee the management of healthcare programs within the Arizona Department of Health Services, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight to healthcare contractors, develop and implement operating procedures, and prepare administrative and statistical reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operating procedures in accordance with program rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit administrative and statistical reports for the monitoring and oversight of healthcare programs.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to healthcare contractors, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Establish training courses for program participants and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Represent the department in internal and external meetings, and coordinate with other agencies and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Four years of professional experience in healthcare program management, including program planning and administration.
  • A Master's degree in a field related to healthcare may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and populations.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations, as well as state and federal laws related to healthcare.
