Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to lead our Nutrition Support Program (NSP) team. As a Manager II, you will be responsible for overseeing the consolidated NSP, which includes enteral and total parenteral nutrition operations, clinical dietitian teams, and patient management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the centralized delivery of enteral therapy and total parenteral nutrition therapy lines, integrating quality improvement philosophies and techniques.
  • Oversee NSP operations in accordance with patient care needs, department strategic plans, medical staff policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, addressing process updates to ensure budget efficiency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for nutrition across the organization, collaborating with procurement, pharmacy operations, patient access, reimbursement, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement new approaches and strategies to optimize operating resources, defining and articulating program objectives using key performance indicators.
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of direct reports.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, including 2 years of management experience.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) licensure, as applicable, dependent on state of practice.
  • Active membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • For Paragon and Carelon Health business units, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required.
  • For Paragon business units, a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) credential is required, with successful completion of the CNSC exam within 12 months of hire and maintenance of certification.
Preferred Skills
  • One year of home infusion nutrition leadership experience.
