We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian II R/L to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a key member of our Clinical Nutrition Team, you will play a vital role in providing medical nutrition therapy to assigned patient populations.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the Nutrition Care Process to provide effective and efficient medical nutrition therapy to patients.
- Promote teamwork and support organizational goals by demonstrating flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments.
- Collaborate with peers to ensure essential shifts are covered and patient care is delivered safely and effectively.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain competence through ongoing self-evaluation and study to identify and close professional knowledge and performance gaps.
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field with specialty certification.
- Master's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or related field.
- 4 years of direct care experience as a Clinical Dietitian.
- ICU, Nutrition Support, Bariatrics, and experience in adult and NICU populations preferred.
- LD - Licensed Dietitian State of Texas, 6 months required.
- RD - Registered Dietitian, Upon Hire required.
- RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Upon Hire required.
- CDR - Commission on Dietetic Registration Certification, if Bachelor's degree.
- CDE/CDCES - Certified Diabetes Educator/Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist, if Bachelor's degree.
- CEDRD - Certified Eating Disorders Registered Dietitian, if Bachelor's degree.
- Other certifications, if Bachelor's degree.
