We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychology Assistant to join our team at the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing psychological evaluations, assessments, and interventions to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial screenings and psychological evaluations to assess individual needs and develop treatment plans.
- Administer and score psychological and neuropsychological tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
- Provide individual and group counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in staff development programs and research projects to stay current with best practices in clinical psychology.
- Master's degree in psychology from an accredited educational institution.
- Knowledge of clinical psychology, psychodiagnostics, psychotherapy, interviewing, statistics, and counseling.
- Ability to understand abstract field of study, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
