Job Summary

As a Vascular Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing vascular lab exams and utilizing advanced ultrasound equipment. You will work under the direction of the vascular lab manager and medical director to ensure that all exams are conducted with the highest level of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of vascular lab exams, including duplex imaging, Doppler, and plethysmography, to accurately diagnose and treat vascular conditions.
  • Operate advanced ultrasound equipment and software packages, including EMR and Structured Reporting, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Rotate to multiple vascular lab locations as scheduled and required by the IAC, participating in the daily workflow and ensuring timely patient care.
  • Participate in the Vascular Lab after hours, on-call, weekend, and holiday schedules, providing coverage as needed.
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings, as well as educational conferences, to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field and participate in discussions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from a formal/Director-approved radiology or sonography program.
  • One year of vascular sonography experience performing non-invasive vascular lab studies.
  • ARDMS certification, including RVT or CCI (RVS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics.
  • Medical terminology.
