Automotive Service Consultant

As a Service Advisor at Tire Pros, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your primary responsibility will be to advise and consult customers on vehicle service needs, creating repair orders and communicating with the service department to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities- Promptly greet and meet with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Determine the nature of customer problems, conducting road tests or visual inspections as necessary
- Create Repair Order Requests detailing the service to be performed or merchandise to be sold
- Obtain customer approval for service before delivering the order to service personnel
- Review completed repairs or services performed with customers and collect payment
- Maintain the cleanliness of the showroom and restock displays as needed
- Perform daily cash and sales procedures at the close of business
- Comply with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- High School graduate or comparable vocational training
- Knowledge of computerized sales and marketing software
- Knowledge of auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance issues
- Experience using Mitchell Repair, Activant, All-Data, and vehicle service manuals to research and determine the resolution of malfunctions
- Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years in a retail environment, preferably auto/truck tire, lubrication, and maintenance
- 3+ years as a Service Advisor in an auto repair store, auto dealership, or comparable professional environment
- Experience as a vehicle mechanic or lubrication technician
