About the Role:
Argus Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the management of new and existing contracts, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation to execution
- Develop and implement contract strategies to meet business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure contract compliance
- Provide liaison support with OEM partners to ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements
- Act as an information source on organizational policies and procedures pertaining to legal and contract requirements
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, planning, and billing systems
- Negotiate terms with suppliers and draw up agreements that satisfy all stakeholders
- Track accounts and manage relationships with other agencies
- Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of contract management experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, prelaw, law, or a related field
- Relevant training and/or certifications, such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager or other
- A strong grasp of legal terms and conditions, including up to-date knowledge of current laws and international rules
- Strong understanding of Federal Procurement Regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and Supplier Clauses
- An understanding of the AS9120, ISO9001:2015 standards
- Detail-minded, self-starter with the ability to work with others
- Excellent organizational skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving abilities essential
- Excellent analytical and negotiating skills a must
- Communication and relationship management
- Proficient in Windows Environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel
