Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement contract strategies to meet business objectives

  • Provide liaison support with OEM partners to ensure compliance with customer contractual requirements
  • Act as an information source on organizational policies and procedures pertaining to legal and contract requirements
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, planning, and billing systems
  • Negotiate terms with suppliers and draw up agreements that satisfy all stakeholders
  • Track accounts and manage relationships with other agencies
  • Communicate and present information to stakeholders about all contract-related matters

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of contract management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, prelaw, law, or a related field
  • Relevant training and/or certifications, such as Certified Professional Contracts Manager or other
  • A strong grasp of legal terms and conditions, including up to-date knowledge of current laws and international rules
  • Strong understanding of Federal Procurement Regulations, including FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and Supplier Clauses
  • An understanding of the AS9120, ISO9001:2015 standards
  • Detail-minded, self-starter with the ability to work with others
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities essential
  • Excellent analytical and negotiating skills a must
  • Communication and relationship management
  • Proficient in Windows Environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel
