Conducts diagnostic imaging procedures Confirms the patient's clinical history with the procedure, ensuring documentation is accessible for licensed practitioners. Positions patients utilizing appropriate radiation safety measures and immobilization techniques tailored to various age groups. Implements radiation safety principles to minimize exposure for patients, self, and others. Adjusts patient positioning to optimally display the anatomical area of interest while ensuring patient comfort. Selects and operates the necessary radiographic equipment following established protocols. Reviews images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded. Assists radiologists during fluoroscopic and radiographic procedures. Prepares contrast media under the supervision of a Radiologist, adhering to departmental protocols. Employs aseptic techniques. Maintains knowledge of and adheres to Universal precautions. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills and maintains patient confidentiality. Performs additional duties as assigned.Required Qualifications*
Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent education and experience. Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology must be obtained within the first six months of employment. Active ARRT Registration is required. Current BCLS Certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and professionalism. Knowledge of age-appropriate guidelines for communication, positioning, radiation exposure, and safety. Physical capability to assist and transfer patients safely and manage radiology equipment. Dependable with a record of good attendance. Self-sufficient and proactive. Ability to collaborate effectively with a team, including fellow technologists and clinical staff. Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision at remote locations. Strong mentoring skills for training new staff and interns.Desired Qualifications*
Experience with Sectra PACS and proficient in computer data entry. Background in general diagnostics in outpatient settings, including Bone Density/DEXA exams. Experience in orthopedic imaging. Familiarity with Level 1 Trauma Centers. CPR certification. Experience with Liko Lift.Work Schedule
Flexible work hours with varying shifts.
Work Locations
Rotational assignments across various departments.

Eligibility for hybrid or remote work arrangements is determined by the hiring department, with agreements reviewed annually and subject to change.
