Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Highlands Behavioral Health System. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the immediate milieu of patients, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and activities of daily living.
  • Assist in the maintenance of patient records and documentation.
  • Provide supervision for assigned patients and ensure their safety at all times.
  • Escorts patients to events and activities outside of the facility.
  • Promote a positive working environment and demonstrate respect for patients and colleagues.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
  • Two+ years of education focused on nursing, psychology, social service, medicine, or a related field preferred.
  • At least one year of relevant experience preferred.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license in the applicable state.
