We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Supervisor to join our team at Ian's Pizza. As a Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful and efficient operation of your department, including Catering, Delivery, Front of House, or Catering. You will assist the managers in ensuring the tools and procedures are in place and used by all department staff for successful operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist managers in ensuring the successful operation of your department
- Train and develop department staff, including conducting performance reviews
- Provide input on staffing, staff performance, and scheduling
- Attend all staff, team, and manager meetings
- Learn and use Google Drive and Google products like Sheets and Docs
- Experience as a Supervisor or Shift Leader in catering, restaurants, or bars is required
- Specific experience in your department is required
- Embody Ian's Standards for Customer Service, Food Quality, and Big Five Code of Conduct (Awareness, Connection, Effort, Dependability, and Generosity)
- Cross-trained and regularly able to perform all in-store positions within 6 months
- Must complete a food safety certification course within 4 months
- Ability to motivate others, keep organized and set priorities, and practice good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, crouch, and lift up to 20-50 lbs, and use ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business
- English language proficiency is required for this position
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide adequate identification documentation at Orientation and/or Day One
This position is hourly with the expectation to work 35-40 hours per week, including weekend and evening availability. Your schedule is posted 2-4 weeks at a time, depending on location.
