Compensation:

This position offers a competitive salary range of $60-$85k+/year, plus bonuses, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in operations or project management, including 3-5 years in a leadership role managing a team, preferably remotely.
  • Familiarity with the printing industry, e-commerce fulfillment, and Shopify operations.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Proficient decision-maker and problem solver, employing a systems-based thinking approach.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to enhance processes and efficiency.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, adept at building and maintaining vendor and client relationships.
  • Proactive in problem-solving, with the ability to foresee potential challenges and implement preventive strategies.
  • Strategic thinker capable of anticipating challenges and formulating effective solutions.
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions on complex issues throughout project life cycles.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Printing, Dropshipping Ecommerce, 3PL, Logistics, and Operations is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Shopify, shipping fulfillment software, inventory management software, Airtable, Slack, MacOS, WindowsOS, Microsoft Office, and G-Suite.
  • Mandarin proficiency is preferred for communication with our offices in Taiwan and China.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, serving as the primary problem-solver and decision-maker across all departments, including account management, logistics, sourcing, marketing, and planning.
  • Implement new systems and procedures based on industry best practices, driving continuous quality enhancements.
  • Manage and coordinate our remote team, ensuring effective communication to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to define project requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Effectively allocate resources across projects for optimal utilization and efficiency.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and improve processes using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Maintain relationships with overseas suppliers to ensure reliable supply chain operations.
  • Promote a collaborative and positive team environment, encouraging communication and knowledge-sharing among project teams.
  • Identify dependencies and potential conflicts between projects and manage them proactively.
  • Conduct regular program reviews to assess performance, recover projects, identify improvement areas, and implement best practices.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.
