Riverview Regional Medical Center Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Adult Geriatric Psych Registered Nurse to join our team at Riverview Regional Medical Center.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working night shifts, with opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Treat patients with compassion and respect, providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
  • Record patients' medical histories and symptoms, perform diagnostic tests, and analyze results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Administer medications, operate medical equipment, and provide patient education on mental and medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in therapeutic groups, crisis intervention, and seclusion/restraint procedures as needed.
Requirements
  • Current and valid State license as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Working knowledge of Mental Health Laws and practice standards.
  • Working knowledge of interdisciplinary treatment team process, behavioral health programming, and daily nursing functions for inpatient and outpatient behavioral health units.
