Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Gecko Hospitality. As a Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure profitability.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, pricing, and inventory control strategies.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of success in kitchen management, including experience with menu planning, inventory control, and labor management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
