KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and enhance the technological vision of the organization while steering all facets of strategic tech development.
  • Supervise teams responsible for software engineering, quality assurance, AWS cloud management, Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics platforms, data security, and user support.
  • Direct teams handling extensive data and image repositories along with significant storage and processing capabilities.
  • Implement and promote IT best practices encompassing security and compliance, SOC2/SIG, SDLC/Agile methodologies, IT service management, change management, disaster recovery, enterprise risk management, vendor oversight, and asset management.
  • Formulate policies aimed at optimizing efficiency, minimizing errors, controlling expenditures, and ensuring the continuous operation of IT systems and services.
  • Manage the IT budget to ensure responsible utilization of organizational resources.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; MBA is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the Information Technology sector.
  • At least 10 years of managerial and strategic experience within the industry.
  • In-depth technical expertise in software development processes, including coding, service-oriented architecture, serverless computing, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud technologies, data structures, JSON/XML, and image formats.
  • Proficient in M365 Applications for data analysis and research purposes.
  • Strong mathematical skills with the ability to apply statistical analysis.
  • Experience in security and personally identifiable information (PII) management; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Prior exposure to risk management, compliance, UCC, public records, finance, or the legal sector is preferred.
