Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and functional abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Provide occupational therapy interventions to patients, including exercises, activities, and education.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an outpatient neuro setting.
  • Knowledge of neurodevelopmental treatment techniques.
  • Ability to work with patients of all ages and abilities.
