Job Title: I&C Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled I&C Systems Engineer to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As an I&C Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating, tracking, and communicating processes and metrics associated with I&C design changes, corrective actions, and configuration control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the I&C system engineering software tool usage for processes and provide weekly metrics and conduct status meetings.
  • Work extensively with technical subject matter experts and project management, supporting both operating and new plant design projects.
  • Apply fundamental engineering principles and process-oriented concepts to ensure effective configuration management and requirements management.
  • Implement, execute, and maintain integrated systems engineering processes and tools on assigned projects.
  • Ensure applicable software database tools are defined and maintained.
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Technical interest, including a desire and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to perform database management.
  • Previous knowledge of overall design and operation of Pressurized Water Reactors (PWR) and systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Previous knowledge of distributed I&C systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical topics, summary of results, and proposed solutions to customers and team members.
