Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the procurement process, including managing MRP exception reports and understanding the inputs of the procurement process.
  • Gain exposure to the supplier performance review process and create product line forecasts using Legrand's statistical models.
  • Attend and participate in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) consensus review and gain an understanding of the company's global sourcing strategy.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and actionable improvements to address product damage due to carrier handling and delivery.
  • Support compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information and protecting the assets of the organization.
Requirements
  • Working toward a bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical or manufacturing engineering, business operations or supply chain management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral presentation and written communication skills.
  • Ability to structure and process qualitative and quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with standard problem-solving methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SAP.
