Job Title: PSU Equipment Builder

At TEKsystems, we're seeking a skilled PSU Equipment Builder to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing portable surveillance equipment by assembling various pieces of electrical equipment and fabricating metal accessories as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble portable surveillance equipment using electrical components and metal accessories
  • Work with hand tools, drill press, and other machines to ensure efficient production
  • Perform basic repairs on equipment to ensure quality and consistency
  • Test and return equipment to ensure it meets quality standards
  • Communicate with management to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Keep work area clean and safe, and assist co-workers with receiving inventory and stocking shelves
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to differentiate between colored wires and electronic components
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
  • Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of electronics and/or security
