The Housekeeping Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of guest accommodations within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities
To perform the essential functions of this role, reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

  1. Receives a list of designated rooms from management and organizes tasks based on guest check-out schedules.
  2. Inspects the cleaning cart inventory and replenishes supplies as needed.
  3. Knocks and introduces themselves before entering a guest's room; returns later if the room is occupied.
  4. Removes used linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets from each assigned room and replaces them with fresh items.
  5. Makes beds and stocks towels, washcloths, and hand towels in accordance with ICONA's standards.
  6. Cleans surfaces and mirrors within the room.
  7. Sanitizes bathrooms and kitchenette areas following ICONA's cleaning protocols.
  8. Vacuum and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
  9. Conducts a final inspection to ensure the room meets ICONA's quality standards.
  10. Informs the supervisor when rooms are ready for occupancy and reports any unusual activities.
  11. Communicates any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
  12. Returns found items to the designated lost and found area after guest departure.
  13. Treats all guests with the utmost respect to guarantee their satisfaction, consistently striving to exceed expectations.
  14. Performs additional tasks as assigned.
  15. Participates in weekly Aloha Culture Meetings.

Supervisory Role

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping is preferred.
