Position Overview:
This is a full-time day shift opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within the CPG FirstCare North team.

Role Responsibilities:
The LPN employs the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care from the moment of admission through to discharge or transfer.

Key duties include:

  • Delivering expert care and education to patients in a clinical environment.
  • Acting as a patient advocate and providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to assistive personnel.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in clinical nursing procedures, understanding disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Montana.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of acute care nursing experience.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire, with Healthcare Provider BLS within three months of hire.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, along with strong computer skills.
  • ACLS certification within six months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are desirable:
  • Recent experience in a hospital setting.
  • Possession of Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire.

Work Schedule:
This position requires availability on weekends.
