This is a full-time day shift opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at CPG FirstCare North. The LPN plays a crucial role in the nursing process, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care from the moment of admission through to discharge or transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert care and education to patients within a clinical environment.
- Serve as a patient advocate, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.
- Demonstrate proficiency in clinical nursing procedures, disease management, interventions, and pharmacological knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensing as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Montana.
- A minimum of one (1) year of acute care nursing experience is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; Healthcare Provider BLS within three months of hire.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, along with computer skills is essential.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Holding both Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS certifications upon hire is desirable.
Additional Requirements:
- Weekend and on-call duties may be required.
