In this position, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our nation and contributing to a smarter future. We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Operations & Support Engineer to provide essential support to our intelligence customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and security of our operations as you leverage cutting-edge technology to provide operational support for mission-critical systems.
- Monitor and manage service disruptions, ensuring functionality and uptime are maintained.
- Collaborate with regional staff to ensure applications and services are performing optimally.
- Act as Tier 3 operations support to resolve technical issues and high-impact incidents.
- Document and analyze incidents to provide feedback for improvements and maintain updated playbooks for future reference.
- Facilitate communication across teams when external input or resolution is necessary.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Over 8 years of relevant software development experience.
- Proficiency in system administration and maintenance.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
- Experience with containerization technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- A customer-focused mindset dedicated to meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
- An active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for a CI polygraph.
Desired Skills:
- Experience managing container platforms like Openshift or Rancher.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages.
- Ability to troubleshoot Postgres databases.
- Familiarity with graph databases and messaging systems.
