Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Avenues Recovery Center in Covington. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide operational support to medical and clinical staff, engage with clients, and contribute to creating a safe and supportive recovery environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to medical and clinical teams, including admissions, transportation, meals, medication, supervision, and phone support.
  • Build rapport with clients and create a warm, accepting recovery environment.
  • Monitor clients and enforce Avenues policies to ensure safety and well-being.
  • Record and escalate critical communications and incidents in a timely manner.
  • Perform administrative duties, including shift documentation, inventory management, meetings, and office support.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
  • Minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety required for those in recovery.
  • Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
  • Warm, compassionate, and empathetic personality.
  • Dignified character that models recovery principles.
