About the Role

Anchor Light Therapy Collective is proud to offer an internal career advancement opportunity within our Clinical Services Department. We are seeking a dedicated team member to embark on a professional development journey as a Sex Therapy Specialist Candidate.

This role is specially designed for individuals within our team who are passionate about providing inclusive, affirming, and evidence-based sexual health and wellness services and dedicated to deepening their expertise in the realm of sex therapy.

As a Sex Therapy Specialist Candidate, you will engage in a comprehensive program leading to certification in sex therapy, approved and supported by ALTC.

This role is pivotal in addressing the diverse needs of our clients and contributing to our mission of offering holistic mental health support.

This initiative reflects our commitment to expanding our services and enhancing our team's skills to better serve our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in the approved certification program in sex therapy, including attending all required courses, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Assist our certified Sex Therapy Specialists in clinical assessments, treatment planning, and therapy sessions under supervision.
  • Contribute to case studies and participate in group discussions as part of the learning process.
  • Apply new skills and knowledge in practice, with a focus on sexual health, intimacy issues, and related challenges.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to integrate sex therapy practices into broader therapeutic services.
Qualifications
  • Current employment with Anchor Light Therapy Collective in a clinical or counseling capacity.
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in the relevant professional field.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and specialization in sex therapy.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills.
