Nurse Specialist

The Infusion Nurse - Patient Care Specialist will provide direct patient care and coordinate the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Oncology, chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, blood product administration, pain management, and skills with port-a-caths and all venous access devices.
Responsibilities- Apply the nursing process in direct patient care
- Coordinate the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings
- Provide education to patients and families on infusion therapy and related topics
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Nursing degree/diploma
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, 2 years Nursing experience, 2 years Oncology experience, chemotherapy administration experience
