- Documentation: Keep precise records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Customer Support: Offer technical assistance and advice to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding generator functionality and upkeep.
- Upgrades and Modifications: Suggest and implement enhancements or alterations to improve generator efficiency and performance.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree or certification in electrical or mechanical engineering is advantageous.
- Experience: At least 4 years of experience in generator maintenance and repair, specifically with Generac and Kohler 40/50 kWh natural gas and diesel generators.
- Certifications: Valid certifications for Generac and Kohler generators are required.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas-powered generators, along with knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to efficiently identify and resolve generator issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with clients and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Licenses: A valid driver's license and any additional relevant industry certifications are preferred.
