Job Summary:

The Sacramento County CA is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Printing Services Operator to operate a variety of printing, reproduction, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of offset printing techniques, processes, and terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate offset printing equipment, bindery equipment, and other related machinery
  • Maintain equipment in good working condition and perform routine repairs
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines
  • Develop and implement efficient production processes

Requirements:

  • Two years experience as a Printing Services Technician in Sacramento County service, or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 80 lbs and stand for long durations
  • Possess and maintain a valid California Driver's License, Class C or higher

Education:

  • A certificate of completion or Associate's Art Degree or equivalent in Printing Technology

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a well-ventilated area with exposure to chemicals and dust
  • Be prepared to work overtime as needed
