Position Overview:

The Materials Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing and facilitating the movement of materials, components, and assemblies across various departments, aligning with production timelines and shipping priorities. This role includes the maintenance of both manual and digital records to ensure accurate tracking of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders and verify quantities, ensuring that all items are free from damage.
  • Collaborate closely with the purchasing and finance teams to confirm details regarding suppliers, product types, and quantities.
  • Notify the relevant departments or end-users about the arrival of incoming shipments.
  • Process requisitions and distribute materials, tools, or stock items to the production or shipping teams as needed.
  • Ensure that inventory is systematically organized and stored in designated locations.
  • Lead kitting activities in coordination with production requirements.
  • Label materials with appropriate identification to facilitate easy tracking.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory records.
  • Coordinate shipping activities with customers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Engage with other departments to identify and implement improvements in operational processes.
  • Uphold a safe, clean, and orderly warehouse environment by adhering to established protocols and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

· Exhibit professionalism in interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.

· Possess strong communication skills.

· Have a foundational understanding of workplace safety, warehouse protocols, and forklift operation.

· Familiarity with warehouse processes, including receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping.

· Understanding of current business systems related to warehouse management.

· Comprehensive knowledge of the company's objectives, policies, and quality standards.

Certifications:

· Valid Class "C" driver's license is required.
