Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Class A Driver to join our team at VSS International, Inc. as a Logistics Specialist. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to job sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre/post trip inspections to ensure truck is clean, lubrication is current, and brake adjustments are made.
  • Transport materials and equipment to job sites, adhering to safety protocols and company regulations.
  • Maintain driver e-logs as required by law and communicate effectively over 2-way radios.
  • Work on the construction crew as needed while on job sites, maintaining a professional image and adhering to PPE and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 1 year of road maintenance experience (preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of commercial driver's laws (weights, endorsements, hours of service, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of mathematics as related to weights
  • Ability to travel (OTR)
