Position Overview

Core Responsibilities

  • Prioritize the safety of oneself and team members while executing job tasks.
  • Efficiently load and unload materials into various transport systems such as trucks, conveyors, and pallets utilizing the correct equipment.
  • Assess and ensure the quality of materials selected from production lines and organized in the storage area.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of material movement in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Uphold excellent housekeeping practices.
  • Support machine operators with changes to dies and rafts as required.
  • Comply with safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.
  • Follow company policies and regulations diligently.
  • Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance.
  • Be available for extra hours as necessary to meet operational demands.
Qualifications

Essential Experience & Qualifications

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Experience in a high-volume production setting is essential.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping and material handling tasks is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

  • Capability to accurately read measurements using tape measures, micrometers, and protractors.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in English with effective communication abilities.
  • Adept at interpreting documents for order staging or truck loading.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members.
  • Experience in unloading production equipment, particularly with long materials, is beneficial.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical demands are typical of a warehouse and production setting.

  • Routine lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
