Shift Details

This position is for the second shift, which runs from Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. Initial training will occur on the first shift for 30 days before transitioning to the second shift.


Position Summary

The Production Assembler will be responsible for the precise and efficient assembly and testing of a range of moderately complex products, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely delivery schedules. The role may involve tasks such as lockwiring, initial subassembly, and final detailing. The assembler will work with products that include mechanical components and hydraulic systems, contributing to lean initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and minimizing costs.


Essential Functions
  • Execute moderately complex assembly and testing tasks using mechanical skills and various tools.
  • Document test results accurately using electrical equipment and measurement devices.
  • Identify and rectify malfunctions based on test data.
  • Interpret technical documents including blueprints and service bulletins.
  • Produce and inspect assemblies to meet product specifications.
  • Participate in lean initiatives by suggesting improvements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in assembly or testing within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of product and process knowledge.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and computer skills.
  • Mechanical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
