Responsibilities:- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare examination rooms for patients and ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist patients with health questionnaires and vital sign measurements.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and provide support during medical procedures.
- Interview patients, record information, and maintain accurate patient charts.
- Assist physicians with examinations and treatments, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, and restock supplies as needed.
- May be required to draw blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Cross-train to cover front desk duties and provide support to other clinics as needed.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic setting.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
