Job Title: Registered Nurse - Chemotherapy Infusion

University of Miami is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) with expertise in chemotherapy infusion to join our team at UHealth/SoLé Mia in North Miami, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our chemotherapy infusion department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing and experience in administering chemotherapy treatments.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments and medications according to physician orders and hospital policies.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding chemotherapy treatments and side effects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree required.
  • Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) and Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Administration Guidelines provider course preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in chemotherapy infusion, emergency, or critical care nursing.
