Your Responsibilities:
As a Pest Control Technician, you will engage with various clients in the hospitality sector and other commercial enterprises. Your role will involve delivering high-quality services and devising solutions to pest-related challenges, thereby assisting our clients in safeguarding their reputation and ensuring their success.
Key duties include:
- Building effective working relationships with clients and collaborating on best practices to address pest issues.
- Staying informed about Ecolab's product and service offerings, as well as industry trends, to enhance service delivery and sales of pest prevention and elimination solutions.
- Utilizing handheld computerized tools to manage service operations and document pest, structural, and sanitation concerns.
Position Details:
This role involves heavy physical work and requires the ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds at chest height. You will need to be comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and extreme weather conditions, and must be capable of climbing ladders.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- A minimum of two years of work or military experience.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willingness to be on-call during off-hours and weekends as needed.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and obtain necessary pest certification as required by local laws.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Experience in the pest control industry or route management is advantageous.
