Dietary Assistant Position for Senior Care

We are seeking a part-time Dietary Aide at Sunset Senior Living in Quincy, IL.
Estimated Salary: $15-$18 per hour (based on 16-24 hours/week).
About the Role:This position involves assisting with meal preparation and service, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and serving to meet residents' needs.
- Deliver food trays and provide assistance with meals as required.
- Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and organization.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Participate in dishwashing and cleaning duties.
- Consider residents' dietary needs and preferences.
- Report any concerns regarding resident dietary needs to the Dietary Manager.
- Contribute to inventory management and stock rotation.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Dietary Manager.
- Familiarity with food handling practices or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
