Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Custom Application Specialist to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a key member of our agronomy solutions team, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating and maintaining application equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops in accordance with label instructions and company guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain application equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and other machinery.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on application equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Keep accurate records of application activities, including log books and spray records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain pesticide applicator certification and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Class A CDL required; experience operating large equipment a plus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle.
  • Ability to work nights, overtime, and weekends during peak season.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality expected.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) a plus.
  • Experience with agricultural equipment and pesticides a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of ag pesticides and safety protocols a plus.
Work Environment

As a Custom Application Specialist at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be required to work near moving equipment and machinery, and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemical hazards. You will be expected to lift or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
