Rotational Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Rotational Engineer to join our team at LANXESS Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for supporting projects and activities at multiple manufacturing sites in North America.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Hands-on training and mentorship from experienced engineers in process engineering, occupational health & safety, process safety, environmental, and capital projects development.
- Supporting projects and activities at multiple Lanxess manufacturing sites in North America.
- Traveling to several manufacturing sites with PTSE project/audit teams.
- Progressing a defined project to improve operations at a manufacturing site.
Requirements for this role include:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, electrical, environmental).
- Highly motivated and capable of addressing complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at the same time.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
- Effective oral/written communication skills to address a variety of audiences.
- Solid organizational, task management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use academic know-how to solve real-world technical problems.
- Thorough working knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
- Willingness to relocate domestically for multiple assignments over a period of 2-3 years.
