Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at MasterTech in Naples, FL.

About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy equipment and systems. Our ideal candidate has experience working with Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, Case, Kobelco, Hitachi, Terex, and other heavy equipment brands.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engines, hydraulics, tracks, A/C, electrical, exhaust, brakes, and other systems. CDL and/or a valid driver's license with a clean driving record are highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and repairs of heavy equipment and systems
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of vehicles from various manufacturers
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently
Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including:

  • A starting hourly rate of $27.50, based on experience and training
  • Benefits available after 60 days of employment, including health, dental, and life insurance, 401K matching, paid holidays, and vacation time
Schedule and Work Environment

This is a day shift position, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm. Overtime is available and paid at 1.5x the hourly rate after 40 hours per week.
