Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at Quality Enterprises USA, Inc. in Naples, FL.
Job DescriptionIn this critical role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on heavy construction equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, graders, and other machinery. Your attention to detail and mechanical expertise will ensure that our equipment operates safely and efficiently.
You will work closely with our experienced technicians to diagnose and repair complex problems, often under tight deadlines. This requires excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of mechanical systems, and the ability to think critically.
In addition to your technical skills, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with our team members, management, and external partners.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using hand and power tools
- Adjust and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance
- Craft detailed reports and records of work completed
- Monitor equipment for compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and electrical systems
- Ability to read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Valid CDL license and DOT physical card
- Pass a pre-employment drug test
