About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to perform golf course maintenance and construction project work. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, including greens mowers and tee mowers, for tasks such as mowing, rolling, and v-cutting.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain golf course grounds and facilities to high standards
  • Assist with construction projects, such as building and repairing golf course features
  • Perform general labor tasks as required

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Field experience in a similar capacity, preferably on a golf course
  • A valid State Driver's License
  • Knowledge of procedures, safety rules, tools, methods, and materials used for golf course maintenance and construction
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds or more, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, reach, walk long distances, drive, and operate equipment for extended periods

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments, with exposure to variable and adverse weather conditions. You will also be exposed to loud noises, vibrations, fumes, airborne particles, grease, oil, and chemicals.
