The Teaching, Learning, & Community Engagement Department (TLCE) within the College of Education at Boise State University is actively seeking a Clinical Instructor Generalist. This role is essential for fostering the development of both current and future educators.

As a Doctoral Research University, Boise State University is at the forefront of educational innovation, balancing rigorous research with a strong dedication to teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Role Responsibilities
Clinical faculty members are expected to teach four (4) courses each semester during the Fall and Spring terms, engaging in a blend of instruction and clinical supervision. We are particularly interested in candidates who are enthusiastic about enhancing our undergraduate, master's, specialist, or doctoral programs in partnership with fellow faculty members.
Collaboration and Commitment
We seek a colleague who values collaboration across departmental and college programs, aiming to broaden access to educational opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in education or a related field.
- Demonstrated potential for successful teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Evidence of initiatives to promote access and opportunity for students in P12 or postsecondary education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Terminal Degree or ABD.
- Experience in skilled postsecondary instruction across various formats.
- Background in preservice or inservice supervision, mentoring, or coaching.
- Current or former teacher or administrative licensure.
- Experience in culturally and linguistically diverse educational environments.
- Proficiency in integrating technology and high-impact instructional strategies.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $53,000-$56,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
