GED Instructor

Boise State University is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated GED Instructor to join our team. As a GED Instructor, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality instruction and support to students in our High School Equivalency Program (HEP).

The GED Instructor will be responsible for delivering instruction in English and Spanish to HEP students, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to pass the GED exams. You will also be responsible for maintaining a classroom environment conducive to student learning, tracking student attendance, and collaborating with HEP staff to develop curriculum and instruction.

• Deliver instruction in English and Spanish to HEP students
• Maintain a classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Track student attendance and progress
• Collaborate with HEP staff to develop curriculum and instruction
• Assist in scheduling official tests for students
• Perform other duties as needed

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
• Bilingual - Spanish/English (read, write, speak)
• Possess a valid driver's license

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Two years classroom experience
• Previous experience in Adult Education
