Commercial Lines Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage client services and maintain relationships with minimal oversight from Producers.
- Direct a service team to manage a mid-market book of business effectively.
- Analyze and present renewal options to clients, selling renewal business and additional coverage lines.
- Promote various services offered by our agency through tailored Producer Service Proposals.
- Provide expert analysis and recommendations on clients' existing coverage plans.
- Select carriers for solicitation, negotiating beneficial terms and premiums.
- Address and resolve client inquiries, including benefits and claims issues.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of client coverage contracts and amendments.
- Manage and negotiate contracts with third-party vendors on behalf of clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in the insurance field.
- Designations are a plus (CIC, CISR, CSRM, AAI).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Teamwork-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in planning, organization, and prioritization.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, AMS360 or Applied TAM/EPIC.
Salary Context: The national average salary for similar roles ranges from $75,000 to $95,000, excluding bonuses or benefits. Based on experience, skills, certifications, education, and internal equity, the base pay for this position is estimated to be between $82,500 and $95,000.
